President Evie called our May meeting to order. Old Businness was Thank you from Alzheimer Association for art quilts. A quick run of suggestions from suggestions box and on to new business. July meeting will be Come to the Fair.
Carolyn asked members to please let her know where they wanted the Luv quilts and pillowcases to be donated to.
Many Block of the Month's were brought back to the meeting. A vote was taken for all blocks to be given to one person winning the drawing for them. Red/white/blue blocks can also be made for the Wounded Warrior Project quilts which are donated to Westcliffe's retreat for Wounded Warriors.
Sew and Share is always a great time for all members and visitors. We get to see all the wonderful creative quilts, bags, wall hanging, art quilts, etc that members make.Our program for May was Nani of NaLa's Quilt Shoppe from Fountain, Co. She spoke to us about "Inspirations".
Nani showed us many beautiful quilts she has made and some of her favorite techniques and books.
