A word from the President

Hello Pueblo West Quilters

Remember our Sept. meeting has been changed to the

2nd Monday of September!

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH 7PM

*****NOTE THE CHANGE IN LOCATION*****

MAJESTIC BAPTIST CHURCH

494 HEMLOCK PUEBLO WEST

Drive south on Purcell - the church in on the corner of Purcell and Hemlock!

This change was necessary because renovations at the Fiesta Room at SunHaven Community Center are not quite done! Majestic Baptist was very gracious enough to let us use their fellowship hall at the last minute.

BRING YOUR SEWING MACHINES AND YOU WILL WORK ON YOUR DONATION PROJECTS FOR THE QUILT FAIR IN NOVEMBER.

WE WILL HAVE AN OPEN FORUM FOR QUESTIONS ON ANYTHING QUILT RELATED. IF YOU ARE HAVING ANY PROBLEMS WITH ANY PROJECTS, THERE MAY BE SOME HELP AT THE MEETING, SO BRING IT IN.

Hostesses: Snack - Ronda Dobek Drink - Heidi Gard

LAPEL PINS ARE IN AND WILL BE ON SALE FOR $4.00!

Don't Forget - We need a Nominating Committee in September!

You can make it easy on this committee by volunteering for an office for 2009!

We have the best quild in the area, and its a great opportunity to utilize your ideas, talents and organizational expertise by planning club meetings.

If everyone helps, then everyone benefits!

Please call me if you have any questions about being on the Executive Board.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day Holiday!
