Kristi Graham gave a short speech on Alzheimer patients and their art work which is being made into quilts to be auctioned off as a fund raiser for Alzheimer. She had many different pictures patients had drawn or painted which could be used to make a quilt or quilts. Nina demonstrated the March block of the month which is the continuation of the star theme.
There were many blocks made for February's BOM along with many Red/White/Blue block for our Wounded Warriors quilts. Members enjoyed a presentation by Carolyn Collette . She advised us of many quilting sites available on the internet. How to cut half square triangles. Hints for making your quilting "fuss free".
