2008 LUV QUILTS DONATED STATISTICAL BALANCE IS 24

LUV Quilts were all shown together at the beginning of this portion of the meeting and there were a total of 13 shown and 12 turned in to be donated. One is a work in progress. We all hope to see the finished product soon. WAY TO GO!!! Last month 12 LUV quilts were donated for a total of 24 so far this year . That is AWESOME – now if each month the guild received that many – do the math – math is cool and tells it all – that would be a lot of quilts (did you do the math??? – what did you get???). Therefore we would be donating more than ever before--– wouldn’t it be great if each year we can add to our donation quotient. This would be a truly extraordinary feat for us as a guild. Donating to our community is unforgetable for some of those who are on the receiving side of these quilts. I personally have not been on the distribution side of things, however I do know from personal experience that when these quilts are received they are an awesome gift and we should all be very proud to belong to a group that is involved enough in the community that they are donating time and fabric. – (we all know the gold standard has nothing on fabric worth – right!)
