March 7th Program: Hands on Applique with Katya Holen

Supply List

Background fabric: 10” x 18”

            White, pastels, small prints, tone on tone

Bunny fabric: 14” x 8”

            Brights, small prints

Bunny ears: 6” x 6”

            Contrast to bunny fabric

Fusible web: 10” x 7” (lightest weight)

            Heat-n-Bond or Steam-a-Seam

Pencil, fabric scissors, paper scissors, thread snips

Needle turn applique:

            Small, sharp pins

            Sewing thread to match bunny fabrics

            Needles and needle threader

Raw Edge blanket stitch by hand:

            Embroidery floss: match fabrics or black or dark brown

            Embroidery needles

Ways to finish your project will be suggested at the March 7^th meeting.
