Vicki called the meeting to order. We had a guest speaker from Colorado Springs, Co “What Makes a Winner” presented by Barbara Broushous..she is a state quilt judge.
We had several beautiful blocks of the month. They were won by Mari Pretzer. We have also started a red/white/blue block of the month for our Wounded warrior quilt program. Quilts from the blocks are being sewn at our Tuesday night group at Mary Richardson's and will be donated to the Westcliff retreat for wounded warriors. Janet Flick will donate for the guild
Many Luv quilts were donated, along with pillowcases for the local pediatric ward of hospitals here.
