One of our local quilters, and past president and treasurer of PWQ, Joey Snow, will demonstrate The Disappearing Nine Patch block and also teach different techniques to make a traditional Nine Patch Block. This will be a fun class and the possibilities are endless using a variety of fabrics. This is a demonstration only, so don't bring your sewing machines, but if you have any nine patch blocks laying around in your stash, bring them and we can show you how to make them disappear!!

PWQ Lapel Pin Contest
Bring in your idea and drawing for the official PWQ lapel pin. Membership will vote and the top five will be reviewed by the Exec Board will be submitted to the manufacturer for their opinion. The person who submitted the winning drawing will receive their pin free! The pins will be sold for $5 each.

Club Batting - Just a reminder that the club is happy to provide the batting for LUV quilts that you make. Its the least we can do since you are providing the fabric and time to make them. Just remember, if you take batting, then bring back a quilt!
